MPThr3ads

MPThreads is a pet project that began under the supervision of Professor Rebecca Fiebrink. The prototype developed is a sweatshirt that plugs into any audio-playing device and, using a low-pass filter and thresholder, will activate a set of vibrating motors on the jacket in coordination with the lower bass tones in the music (it's a sweater that vibrates with your music while you listen on headphones). The device is currently in its fifth stage of prototyping. Each prototype was user-tested before designs for the next prototype were made. This project was a team effort in which I collaborated with Abigail Ward, Dillon Reisman, and Prerna Ramachandra. I am continuing to develop the project with Abigail Ward.
